The Dances

It has been a rough couple of weeks. We moved into a new place and had no phone or internet for almost three weeks while sitting on hold (using a cellphone at 10 cents a minute) with various incompetent service providers. Then as soon as that got cleared up the car broke (transmission).

We are happy to say though that that is all over. We now have our phone back. We have internet and a working vehicle. The transmission turned out to be an easy fix. There was a wire that had to be replaced and it was up and running again (wire = $8.00, splice = $12.00, total bill = $500.49). I told Jen that I’ll quite my engineering job to be a mechanic ($90/hour).
