We looked out the window yesterday and what did we see… The white squirrel running around… but we’ve already written about him. No, there were two woodpeckers pecking at our trees in the backyard. That’s right, not one but two! Lilly was fascinated. Here’s a picture. (By the time I got the camera, one moved and is kind of hard to see.)

Something in your post reminded me of one time when I was walking around ASU a bunch of tourist types saw one of those big black crows and started freaking out over the “roadrunner.” Anyway, that is awesome that you get to see so much wildlife right outside your house.
